I am an Interfaith/Interspiritual Minister/Reverend ordained with One Spirit Learning Alliance out of New York City, a Spiritual Counselor using a process I call Integral Soul Healing, and an Intuitive Medium. I’m also a writer, a speaker for topics related to spiritual activism & spirituality, and a course presenter/facilitator and a retreat dreamer-upper.
I started out on the spiritual path in the late 90’s as a lifeline to survive and manage clinical depression in my early twenties and to understand the extrasensory experiences I began having during the same time as a clairvoyant intuitive medium. Psychedelics, and later, meditation, also played a significant role in my journey into exploring the expansive qualities of consciousness and energy.
My spirituality unfolded as a personal passion only until I trained in Reiki in 2002. Around the same time, I interned at The Sophia Institute in Charleston, SC, where I was introduced to studies of the Divine Feminine and internationally renowned speakers/authors on the subject. This informed my overall spiritual framework and desire to resuscitate the ancient wisdom teachings of The Feminine with the culture we live in today. In the mid-2000’s I also participated in breakthrough life-coaching programs at The Legacy Center in Raleigh, NC and remain dedicated to a deep-dig approach to spiritual accountability and transpersonal healing.
My twenties were a tough time of learning for me, and I made some of the usual “mistakes” people make at that time in life, especially when we’re operating from unhealed material and the ignorance of youth. But I learned from it all and entered yoga teacher training in 2015. A couple years later, friends in the progressive Christian community led me to The Wild Goose Festival where I received a “message from above” while listening to a talk on trauma: “You are to start a new kind of church.” I looked around me, and pointing at myself, responded, “Who me?” “Yes, you.” thy voice said. “Become a student again. Go back to school.”
I enrolled in the first online seminary that would take me. Wrong one! I tried again and discovered my dharma as an Interfaith/Interspiritual Minister who resonates most deeply with a blend of teachings from Eastern traditions, Christ Consciousness, and multiple areas of spiritual psychology (also known as psychospiritual work). I began meditating and opening up my intuitive channels again; the faucet came on full blast!
A series of profoundly fortunate events led me to open Light House Spiritual Center in Mooresville, North Carolina in the summer of 2017, just north of the city of Charlotte, in an area called Lake Norman. Light House found its home is a 120+ year old, refurbished farmhouse stunner. This was the precise, white house I had seen in visions for over twenty years. A vibrant community for spiritual and personal development and healing grew there with the help of complementary holistic practitioners and powerful Sunday services where safe, open dialogue around spiritual/healing topics and wisdom traditions was encouraged.
Our beloved house was sold by its owner in October 2020 as a response to the COVID 19 pandemic. I saw this as Divine timing to take my work beyond the four walls and offer more psychospiritual healing and mentorship for the awakening journey to more people.
Light House Spiritual Ministry is now centered around the help I can offer towards spiritual growth & healing, spiritual activism, teachings in intuitive development and spiritual ideologies and practices, and the Integral Soul Healing model of personal and spiritual wellness and growth, which includes shadow work and steps into self-realization and integration.
It is my sincere calling to act as a bridge between higher consciousness and the realities of living day-to-day in this world, including the responsibilities we share of service to each other. I believe that every life path is ultimately a heart path, and that heart-opening, love-in-action, and finding the way through that compassionate, brave portal is the spiritual journey.
With humor and a transparent style of “getting into the sacred”, I like to help people connect with universal higher truths and face difficult initiations into spiritual maturity and inner growth. As my spirit-friend and beloved teacher, Ram Dass, says, “We’re all just walking each other home.” I think this journey offers more ways than any of getting home, cultivating home within and in the here and now, and making this earth a better home for everyone. This is the work I am here to do.
